Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I stopped by Nicky’s of Beverly and ordered the Italian beef with hot giardiniera, dipped. The flavors were spot on, but the beef was a little on the dry side and the bread wasn’t fully dipped. That said, the sandwich was still very tasty—the bread had a great crunch that worked well. The fries came out hot and crispy, and I really liked that they offer garlic aioli, mild sauce, ketchup, and mustard to grab. The menu is massive, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

Food was good. My kid loves the variety of salads. Unfortunately the lobster roll tasted nothing like lobster, it didn’t even taste like imitation crab meat so I am not sure what meat it even was. Way overpriced for sure. Those who say they liked the lobster roll maybe never had lobster. Or maybe i got some that had freezer burn so had no flavor. Either way we would still go back to try other items. The vibe is really cool and its always crowded.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the people seemed friendly at first. We ordered rib dinner, $21 chicken tenders and burger with side of fries, chicken pot stickers, and fried pickles. The food tasted ok, not what I expected, but that is the risk of trying new spots. The problem is that I ordered a rib tip dinner and there was only (6) rib tips that appeared half cooked, and a whole half tray of fries and bread for $21. I thought it was a mistake and asked so that they could correct. In response the person barely turned to speak to me, then stated I received a pound of rib tips then he turned back around. Not happy. I paid $80, including a tip, for our food.
