This is the comfort food you didn’t know you needed. Some friends and I happened to stop by during a quick trip to Richmond and had one of the best meals in quite a while. The flavors are well rounded and nuanced and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The vegetarian duo app was great-if you love collards their collards are truly top tier. Really informative about their food and ingredients. Also: I bought a large packet of their berbere Ethiopian chili blend to take home. Used it to make a spicy garlicky honey glaze for smoked chicken wings, and it’s unreal!

When we arrived they told us that the brunch menu was available, so we tried a few things and were blown away by it all. So much so that we decided to visit again for dinner! Every employee was above and beyond kind and personable. We will most definitely be back and can't wait to try everything else on the menus.

Had a fantastic meal here the other day, as I do every time. We ordered the Ayib Tikel to start with and they are truly morsels of joy! We both shared a veggie combo plate and by the end it was all gone. The folks who create this fabulous food are so warm and friendly. Love this place every time I eat here. If you want food that will delight your belly and sooth your soul, this is the place.
