No. 1 CHINESE RESTAURANT is a RIP-OFF! Do not take out food from here WITHOUT verifying what's inside the bag and double checking ALL the container sizes of each separate item you had ordered! Around 8:30pm, my wife went inside to order from the "dinner" section for a LARGE "quart sized" shrimp fried rice and a LARGE "quart sized" beef with mixed vegetables. The lady behind the counter told her they have no "large sized" portions of the fried rice, only the SMALL size. My wife did not know better as this was her first time. This is BS and was done deliberately since she was a new customer! The lady did the same thing to our second item, serving a pint sized reduced portion of the beef with mixed vegetables. When we arrived home we found a "pint sized" fried rice and a "pint sized" beef with mixed vegetables. Totally UNSAT as we were charged for the more expensive "quart sized" prices for both items rather than the pint sized prices. Then she had the audacity to include a pint sized white rice in the bag which we never ordered, just to make the carryout bag feel heavier. They charged us nearly "double" the price for the entire meal with much less food portions at $25! This was all verified on the takeout menu we took home that night. I am a retired military veteran, as well as senior citizens in our 70's. We were just taken advantage of folks. It's appalling. So be extra careful and smart to "doublecheck" your takeout orders from this dishonest franchise, please don't get "tricked" like we did.

This is more like great Chinese take out food. There is a limited selection of great tasting Chinese food in Dover Delaware. If your looking for great tasting Chinese food it's just like they advertise #1 in my book.

Growing up in Korea as a military kid and now serving myself. The order of Chow Mein and Mei Fun noodles just had MSG sprinkled over the top. Every bite was full of salt. I never leave reviews but this is the worst food I’ve ever had from a place like this.
