Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Family of 3 outing. Best Buffalo Chicken Salad I’ve ever had. Chicken was so tender, flavorful spice and great sauce. Also had Rueben Hash that was terrific. Sat on side overlooking golfers and thoroughly enjoyed that also. Great outing!

I've been to Oak 19 a couple times this year since they opened for the season. The boneless wings have a nice crunch without being dry and the sauces are solid. The fried chicken sandwich is another good option, I would ask for a side of buffalo sauce to add some heat. Great place for a quick lunch with a nice view of the course.

Decided to try out Oak 19 as used to eat at the clubhouse by my old office occasionally. Walked in and was promptly greeted and told can sit anywhere. We picked a seat near the windows and waitress brought menus for us. She was back in a minute or so and took our drink order. Few minutes later brought our drinks, they have root beer on tap so had to have it 😁 Ordered was Fried chicken sandwhich with fries, Black and blue burger with slaw, and kids chicken tenders with apple sauce. The fried Chicken in the sandwhich was hand prepared and breaded (nice light breading) and had a bbq sauce on it, nice simple sandwhich on a toasted bun. Fries were hand cut and not over cooked with simple salt and pepper seasoning. The Black and Blue burger was cooked perfectly with a surprise of Dijon mustard which nicely complimented the blue cheese. Fortunately my wife split it and gave me half up front as if I would have asked during the meal I wouldn't have been able to try it. Slaw was a little sweet for her taste but was nice and creamy, that said she finished it all, putting some of it on some fries. The kids chicken tenders were prepared same as the fried chicken and was all white meat. Overall a very pleasant surprise, great food and friendly service. We'll be back to try other items.
