Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I haven't been to Oasis for a while so I took my mom marge, my sister-in-law kris, and my brother John out to lunch Friday to Oasis. The experience was just as great as I remembered. Are server was awesome. And the food was fantastic. I remember when I was a kid this place was called Walkers. It had a bait shop and a small grocery store connected to it. Then as I remember it was called River Oasis Cafe. Now it's called Oasis Cafe. I had the Ziggy's breakfast which was very delicious. My brother had the French toast, he loved it. My mom had the quiche. Real men don't eat quiche. 😲 My sister-in-law had the scrambled which looked amazing and she said it was delicious. Oasis serves breakfast lunch and dinner all day. It's always busy, the parking lot is full all the time. If you time it perfectly you can probably get a seat at the counter or grab a booth or a table. I watched all the food coming out of the kitchen it all looks amazing with great presentation. I would recommend Oasis Cafe to anyone who wants great food great service and a great dining experience. Cute spot with outstanding breakfast. Homemade bread, creative menu options, old standards and newer choices like an avocado toast. Old diner style restaurant with aqua booths and Formica tables - clean, updated and unpretentious. Attentive friendly service. The veggie hash was fantastic and the buckwheat pancake had an unexpectedly light texture and was lightly spiced. Highly recommend!

Be sure to bring your appetite cuz the food is wonderful and you're going to want seconds, especially on the pancakes which are far superior than other local restaurant utots to have the best pancakes in town. That's false they don't theirs suck compared to these, also, be sure to try the deep fried pickles. They are wonderful. The service is great!! Definitely come and enjoy. Truly what it should be like to eat out.
