Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Super excited for this place to open in downtown Summerville. This place so so cool to walk around in, it seemed like there were endless rooms. Seating was offered in every small room or nook and they had a sprawling outdoor patio. The only thing I’ll say is that when you walk in, if it’s not busy then you’ll be fine in line because it is right at the front door. When we left the line was all the way out to the patio so I found it to be a challenging location. The food was BOMB. You could just taste the quality of the ingredients used, the flavors were on point. I loved my breakfast wrap - who knew adding sweet potatoes would be a game changer. My husband’s BEC with this unique GF bread was insane. We’ve never had anything like it. The staff were so friendly, brought us our coffees and were clearing plates for us. It was just a wonderful time siting outside and we enjoyed ourselves. We cannot wait to come back!!

Cute place with lots of indoor/outdoor seating and easily found parking. Overall the sandwiches and lunch items we had were great, fresh and real ingredients without being crazy expensive. Only suggestion is that with bread so fresh and thick, could use a little more aïoli or condiments but that’s easily resolved by asking for more :)

Odd Duck Summerville has a beautiful location inside the old Victorian House. They've got a large backyard with picnic tables set up, but it was a little too chilly for us to check that out today. It did take a few minutes to find a seat since they were so busy, but the back room was pretty sparse compared to the 2 front rooms. We got one of their berry "pop tarts" and it was absolutely delicious! I got an egg and cheese sandwich on their rosemary sea salt bagel and it was delicious! I also got a bottle of chocolate milk; I love that they carry local Lowcoutry Creamery milk! My fiance got the prosciutto breakfast sandwich on focaccia and he really enjoyed it. He also says their drip coffee is good :) They've got lots of local merchandise as well. I bought one of their shirts because I ADORE the design. We will definitely be back to try them for lunch one day!
