Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great and unique menu. Today we tried Pammy'z Reuben sammich, Blazed Up cheesesteak, That Jawn pizza and Pretzel Bombs side. Everything was SO good. I didn't get a picture of the cheesesteak, someone dug into a little too quickly. But he enjoyed the spice level and finished every bite. With a bit of sweat. The Reuben was reminiscent of a good old Jewish deli sandwich. The corned beef is lean, thinly sliced and great flavor. That Jawn pizza is a cheesesteak pizza!! That crust! So chewy and great flavor! Just the right amount of whiz, red onions, orange and green peppers perfectly cooked. Not soggy, not undercooked. Good amount of thinly sliced steak. And the pretzel bombs are a good size serving (3 were already removed before I took the picture) with a nice chew outside and soft and fluffy inside. It will probably be a regular order because luckily we live about 3 minutes from Street Eatz. Gotta go....shop for Spanx.

Ordered food on DoorDash. The sandwich I ordered was no longer available. It was amazing of Gigi to call me and ask if I wanted the sandwich minus the ingredients they didn’t have, or something else. I opted for something else. With DoorDash, I don’t often get that level of customer service, so it was welcome and refreshing! The food overall was good. I won’t say amazing, and I have some minor critiques, but it was good. And good food in this area is sadly very rare. I’ll start with the steak sandwich. It was actually the highlight. The best Philly steak I’ve had in a long time. I think in the future I’d opt for a bit less cheese. I want the steak and peppers to shine and it was a tad too cheesy for my liking, but I think most people would love that. The sides? This is where my minor critiques come into play. The loaded smashed potatoes had great flavor. But they were packaged in a plastic container that was so full the lid was about to burst. The quantity is great, but when everything was smashed into the container it’s basically just loaded mashed potatoes. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I was hoping for something different. Still very good flavor. If you read my other reviews on google, Mac and cheese is my go-to side dish by which I judge all restaurants. If you can make a good Mac and cheese, you can make a good anything. This Mac and cheese was just… meh. Pretty basic, velveeta style cheese sauce. For anyone who doesn’t know good Mac, velveeta and similar processed cheeses alone give off a texture like eating Elmer’s glue. It’s sticky, not creamy, and just tastes like sharp American cheese. And maybe that’s what they used here, but it doesn’t work. Some people might like it, but I’m picky about my Mac and cheese. I want layers of flavor, creamy texture, and multiple cheeses to hit me from different angles. This is at least not Stouffers as far as I can tell, but not really my thing. But it is just a side dish and I think the cheese steak quality makes it worth trying this place again. And Gigi is awesome!
