Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I loved the vibrant packaging and how neat everything was inside the packaging. I've looked at this business for almost a year now and decided to give it a shot and I can honestly say I regret waiting so long. I got the grilled chicken/noodles, jalapeño bomb, vegan roll, chicken tempura roll, and the sweet potato roll. The jalapeo bomb I HIGHLY recommend. I was surprised by the kick of the jalapeño but was happy it wasn't a mild pepper, and the sweetness of the sauces countered the heat a little bit. The chicken tempura roll had amazing flavor and the chicken was fresh! The only two things I'd recommend is the edamame being cooked a little longer because it was a little difficult to remove beans from pods but not that big of a deal. Also the sweet potato roll was a little dry and could've used maybe a slice of cucumber or some avocado added to it. It was just the crunchies and sweet potato and that was it and I was pretty sure it said it came with avocado and eel sauce, if I'm not mistaken. The two things I recommended would not bring my rating lower because this place is definitely a must. I really want to try the Poke Bowl next time.

Very good chicken hibachi. I ordered the veggies as only zucchini. Plenty of food for one person. Comes with 1 cup of yum yum sauce. It was about $15. I would go back again.

Mid at best, and that’s because of the service. If you have any doubts of what good sushi should taste like please make the justified drive to Jefferson City or Columbia where you can enjoy GREAT sushi at places like Sakura, Kampi, and Saki. The positives first: the crab Rangoon was on point, the steak and scallops in the hibachi noodles were just right, and the service was very nice and inviting. The negatives: the fried rice was dry, the hibachi noodles were way too salty, the squid salad was either old or left in the fridge too long, the tuna sashimi was of poor grade and and a mushy texture, and the out of control roll was just that.. poor grade sushi, over sauced to cover the taste, and falling apart.
