Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We really enjoyed having a date night here. We were promptly seated before our reservation time. Food and drinks came at a reasonable time. Our waitress was nice and not overbearing. The food was the star of the show. The food had great flavor and was not too much or too little. Great spot with a premium price.

Overall, I was pleased with this dining experience and would call it an easy 4-star meal. Dining solo, I ended up at the corner of the bar after about a 45-minute wait on a Tuesday (my fault for not making a reservation). The vibe is industrial-chic in a good way: historic bones with a modern look, cozy and just this side of cramped. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. The escargot was the clear standout of the night. Chef Crystal brings a subtle Southern touch to a classic French dish, and it absolutely works. The flavor was so good it might’ve ruined escargot elsewhere for me. The chicken and pasta main, though, left more to be desired. The spinach had that watery, overcooked taste (like it came from a frozen bag or wasn't drained), and the chicken seasoning wasn’t consistent: some bites were lightly salted, others were noticeably oversalted. That said, when everything came together on one fork, the flavors played well enough to smooth over the rough edges, and it still finished pleasantly. For dessert, I went simple with ice cream and coffee since the other options seemed to be for sharing. The ice cream was fine, but not memorable. Honestly it reminded me of Breyers (not an insult; I like Breyers… but I can also have it at home). Small timing gripe: I ordered the ice cream and coffee together, and the ice cream showed up in about two minutes while the coffee took quite a bit longer. If they’re ordered at the same time, I’d rather they arrive together—or coffee first—so I’m not watching ice cream melt while I wait. All in all, a pleasant evening, even if a few finer points were off. If I’m in the area again, I’d come back and try a different main—but I’ll be ordering the escargot without question!

We are in town for the holidays and several family members recommend we try this place for a upscale experience. We were sat at the bar becuase they were packed and the host said once a table opened up he would seat us. That never happened. The bartender really needs training. He never spoke to us whwn we were seated. 10 min after we sat he decided to take our drink order. Unfortunately the service got worse. I have never in my life had to pay for bread service... the bartender never stayed behind the bar. He went missing often. I had ordered the $80 filet medium... 1 hour later after ordering it received the steak it was way over cooked. I never said a word.. how could I our server /bartender never was a round to the point I had to ask other servers for help.. my bill was $200 for group of 3. If your going to charge these upscale prices please match the services... I don't recommend... very disappointed.
