Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Stuck at the Boost store with my son, I started noticing the stream of Jamaicans heading into One Love KV Inc. My curiosity was piqued—this place had to be special! Against dinner reservations with my wife, I couldn’t resist trying a chicken soup. Walking in felt like stepping into a warm hug of incredible aromas! Then I spotted the fridge and grabbed a pineapple ginger juice that was pure liquid sunshine. One Love KV Inc, you’ve captured my taste buds and my heart! I’ll be back for more deliciousness—keep the good vibes coming!

First off, one of the ladies in my group was recommended this place and so a group of us decided to go check it out as we're foodies(love to try different places and been looking forward to this for like a month). We pulled up there and noticed how SMALL it was(really NO room for us to eat inside, they only have STOOLS there BUT we made the best of it). Well NONE of us were too pleased with our food at all, however the Jerk Pork was the best thing on some of our dishes including mines! The Rice and Peas were too soft(too mushy and hardly ANY peas)! The Oxtails were tender but their sauce had wayyy too much Ketchup or Tomato paste(or whatever they use) and their Cabbage was pure GARR-BAGEE(was way too crunchy, had NOOO taste what so ever and had lots of other veggies in it(carrots, peas, corn and hardly NO Cabbage)!! I actually LOVE my Veggies but this was ridiculous! Most of our dishes cost around $34 but was nooo where worth it at all! They had NO Plantains, Dumplings NOR Beef Patties either AND the Rasta Pasta was so DRIED up! We went there around 6p and actually called and told them ahead of time so you would think that they woulda been more prepared to possibly have some fresh pans for when we got there but NOT! We ALL agreed that we will NOT be returning there as there's definitely more BETTER places than this place to get great Jamaican Food from and mind you, we all came from New Haven and Hamden to taste this mess! I will say this though, the staff were pleasant and had music jamming for us so we were all vibing to it and dancing but again, never going back, sorry but not sorry!!🙄🙄🤦🏾🤦🏾😡😡

Love it but the DoorDash menu is wrong & you can’t order lunch for breakfast fix the menu so ppl aren’t wasting money & time . The jerk chicken is either dry or saucy idk maybe different cooks I prefer saucy . The soup fye The brown stew fye I prefer them over the other spots always freshly cooked ! They need fried fish fritters on the breakfast menu or the cod fish with dumplings !
