Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Had the havarti sandwich on sourdough. Honestly one of the best I've ever had. Crunchy, cheesy. Excellent. Good with chicken but you honestly don't need it. Loved the bread crumb topping.

This place was a huge surprise. We were expecting overpriced, underwhelming "museum food" and instead got a truly excellent meal with really friendly service. We were glad we didn't eat before going on the George Eastman House tour. Corn mash, pot pie soup, bread pudding! I was expecting old, dried out hot dogs and Dippin' Dots. Great menu, great food and a nice atmosphere. Super-friendly staff who clearly took pride in what they were doing. Well done.

Open Face was one of my favorite spots in the South Wedge! I forgot you can just come to the George Eastman House and not go to the museum and just grab lunch! You can still enjoy the beautiful gardens and have a delicious bite to eat! Fresh and delicious as always! I will have to do this more! (Not pictured: Ginger carrots bc I gobbled them up!) :)
