Cozy and comfy when you step foot in the door, friendly and overly patient staff with my crazy kiddos, WAY too big portions which is NOT a bad thing. The wait staff was fast and we waited maybe 10 minutes for our food which was DELICIOUS. We will definitely be back!! Second visit makes us lifers for coming here. Love this place! ❤️

This place used to be amazing post Covid. Every dish was full of flavor. Portion sizes were amazing and just a great place to sit and eat overall. Now the food is more on the bland side and you have to add seasonings or hot sauce to really get a decent flavoring. The staff is still friendly, but I wouldn’t come here often or spend as much as I would spend before Covid.

Pacific Southern never disappoints. The food is hearty, flavorful, and straight comfort. The chicken & waffles were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the portion size was legit. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Staff was friendly, service was smooth, and the vibe feels local and welcoming. If you’re in Tacoma and want real Southern comfort food done right, this is a solid choice. We’ll definitely be back.
