Tried the new Brazilian restaurant in Naugatuck, and it’s exactly the fine dining this town needed. The restaurant is small but beautifully done, with a very upscale feel. Our waiter, Josh, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He answered all of our questions and even took the time to come back with answers to the ones he wasn’t sure about. On his recommendation, I tried a Brazilian cocktail called a Caipirinha, which did not disappoint. My friend and I are usually light eaters, but my sea bass was so good I ended up finishing the entire dish. She thoroughly enjoyed her vegan burger as well. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone. The only downside was the vegetables, which seemed more boiled than steamed, making them a bit mushy instead of crunchy. That said, it was a small detail in an otherwise excellent meal. I will definitely be going back. And even if I don’t have the pleasure of having Josh as my server next time, every other staff member we encountered was just as friendly and welcoming.
