I finally got to try Papa Dubi’s after wanting to stop in for about two months, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I’m usually coming through on Mondays when they’re closed, so I was excited to finally make it in. I ordered the fried chicken po’boy with red beans and rice (with smoked sausage), plus hushpuppies and slaw. Everything was phenomenal and you can tell it’s all house made. The red beans and rice had that rich, slow-cooked flavor like it had been developing for hours. You could really taste the smokiness in both the beans and the sausage, and nothing tasted rushed. The fried chicken on the po’boy was cooked perfectly and had great flavor and texture. The hushpuppies were fried perfectly too — crispy on the outside, not greasy at all, and they actually held their crispiness instead of getting soggy. The slaw was fresh and balanced everything out really well. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out fresh and hot. Atmosphere was decent overall — clean and comfortable, just a little more simple and casual than I expected. That said, the food and service more than make up for it.

We had an amazing experience at Papa Dubi’s Cajun Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — the cheesy crab and shrimp dip was incredible. Our server, Haley, was awesome — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere for outdoor dining was perfect, relaxed, and comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great Cajun food and great service!

The food here was amazing! The chicken and jambalaya were the highlights. It’s a tad spicy but absolutely worth it. The cheesecake banana pudding was incredibly good and the perfect dessert. The hush puppies were also soft and delicious. Our server was friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. If you visit, definitely try the jambalaya and the cheesecake banana pudding. You won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be back! 😋
