Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This was a last minute recommendation from another local Italian restaurant that was closed for remodeling. It was packed due to Valentine’s Day weekend, but we were lucky to score a hightop by the bar. Food was authentic and flavorful. Service was excellent and to top it off they have a great tiramisu. We tried to go back again but the restaurant was packed and we didn’t want to wait. Next time we’re in town we’ll make reservations

Great stop for Italian after hitting the antique shops! Very popular spot that had a 15min wait for two and there was a line out the door. The restaurant looks small on the outside but it goes way back. We were unfortunately seated on top of a fire escape door and our table was very close to the folks next to us. We both loved our dishes, alfredo was creamy and thick and my chicken parm had no give and melted in my mouth. The complimentary bread they give is delicious as well. My fiancee really wanted to try a cheesecake so we took it to go. Service was quick and attentive. We would definitely come back. P.S. Vincenzo’s a couple blocks away has the best cheesecake in the square. Papas was a 5/10 for theirs.

This restaurant was recommended by friends and it is a gem! Prices were very reasonable, and the food is well portioned and delicious! Highly recommend the calamari, and my manicotti was sooo good. Candace was our server and she was wonderful!
