Had food from this establishment at the 32nd St Farmer's Market. I ordered the mango shrimp on top of rice & red cabbage with plantains & kale. I've never tasted rice like this. It had a lighter texture & orange-reddish color. The red cabbage was sliced in big pieces but was cooked perfectly-not mushy but also not tough. The kale was not what I expected but surprisingly very good. It had a light crunch to it and paired well with the other foods. The plantains were soft but a bit crispy on the edges, just how I like them. Last but not least, the shrimp were perfect. Nice size & flavorful. I really wanted to go here for lunch a few days later, but the street location looked confusing. I thought it was an actual restaurant, but the address is a former school. I called 3 times & the line was busy. The 4th time I called the phone just rang. Next, I called & someone picked up after a couple of rings and hung up on me. That's how they lost me as a customer.

So glad you were at the Waldorf Fair! I had the bbq chicken with rice and sweet bourbon sauce and OMG it made my entire day. So yummy!! Perfect amount of spice. Insane flavor. Will be buying again for sure

Absolutely amazing Caribbean cuisine!! Something special about that crispy kale they definitely got it figured out all of the food was flavored individually! The staff was so warm and welcoming! Positive and pleasant attitudes. You must try this place!
