I brought my mother here after a recent loss in our family, hoping a good meal might bring her some comfort. It was our first time visiting, and the online reviews were right. The food and atmosphere are truly special. The staff and even the other customers were incredibly patient, friendly, and welcoming. We ended up chatting with people while we waited, and they assured us the food would be worth it. They were absolutely right. My mother is from the South and a tough critic when it comes to soul food, but she gave everything a solid 5 out of 5. Especially the collard greens. It was a bit of a trip getting here, but completely worth it. I’ll definitely be back, and I can’t wait to bring my girlfriend, who also loves soul food.

OMG! Wow! Everything was so delicious. Most soul food restaurant food be salty, Passion Eats knows how much salt to use. First time I could enjoy my dinner without working about my blood pressure going up! PassionEats is located within a strip mall off a very busy street. There is plenty of off street parking, so no need to worry about where to park. This was my first time dining at PassionEats. I dined with 13 friends in a private room inside the restaurant. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, and let me tell you it was non-stop busy. I ordered the 3 piece fried white chicken, with collard greens and mac and cheese as my side dishes. I also odered the bananna pudding as my dessert. The food was good. For as busy as this restaurant was, the service was great.
