Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I do love this place, but on my most recent visit I must sadly report that the main dish I ordered -- the tofu kebab -- was vastly too salty. It was difficult for me to finish eating it, but appetite prevailed. And fortunately I could counteract the salt with some "no-moo" ice cream downstairs at Herrell's. Otherwise the food was delicious -- a red lentil soup to die for, and a side salad with tahini dressing. Service was excellent.

Dining at Paul and Elizabeth’s is always a treat, especially if you are a vegetarian or into healthy eating. On our most recent visit we had the fish lunch special and a house salad, both of them delicious!

Amazingly kind. The butternut bisque is to die for. I'll be back to the seafood chowder. The pie...just look at that walnut oat.Rosalyn was incredible. She totally crushed it. Come in and ask for her.
