Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Wow. Literally no reason to ever go anywhere else for Mexican food. I got the Asada tacos, my partner got the Pollo plate and everything was perfection. They make their own hot sauces and tortillas which just makes it even better. A wonderful, locally run gem. 10/10

Best Mexican food you'll find in Rochester, hands down. Everything is made with love and care. The food is authentic, and the people are authentic and gracious. The food is lovingly scratch made to order, so bring your patience. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Marco and his lovely mother Minerva use family recipes and are wonderfully accommodating, even for vegan and vegetarian diners. If you love Mexican food, add this place to your rotation. Rochester is lucky to have them.

Amazing Mexican food! I got the Al Pastor tacos and it was packed with meat and flavor. They somehow lightly fry their tortilla, and it’s the perfect amount of crunch, while still holding the taco together. Marco’s homemade sauce is to die for, I’ll be waiting for the day that he starts selling it. My husband had the torta, it was a massive portion, and he enjoyed every last bite. Highly recommend stopping here.
