Pegah's Family Restaurant

We were in town for the races at Kansas Speedway and our air-b-n-b host suggested this place for breakfast before the race. When we got there we were promptly seated and brought water. Our waiter, a very nice, respectful young man named Barron was our waiter. I must say, he was the most attentive, respectful, well-spoken kids I've ever met. He told us he's going to be heading off to college soon. He's going to be a huge loss for them for sure, but good luck, Barron! We looked the menu over and made our choice. The food was out to us promptly and was hot like it should have been. Our drinks were kept full the entire time. The food was very good! Everything we both had was wonderful and tasted good. The place was very busy, but they were very well staffed and everyone seemed happy and like they actually wanted to work. That's rare these days, they have a great crew. All in all everything was wonderful and I'd definitely love to go back if given the chance. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Spacious restaurant that had 2 separate dining rooms and seating at a bar area as well. A laid-back environment with lots of nice TVs to view. Was seated quickly and ordered the turkey spinach feta omelet with a side of fruit. The omelet was good. Lisa, who helped me, was very nice. Good spot for a quick solid breakfast.

Went to have lunch with the hubby! Asked the waitress to give me a moment to finish what I was doing and I would look at the menu. 2 minutes later she asked if I was ready, I asked her to give me a few minutes to finish up and look over the menu. Picked up the menu and Lisa steps back to the table immediately to ask if I'm ready. Rather than hold her up I asked the hubby to go ahead and order as I hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu. Lisa says "eh you're not ordering anything now"? I said "nope if I can't look at the menu I just won't order". Lisa informed me it's her job to get my order and got very rude very quickly. I still opted not to order and asked for another waitress. Luz took the hubby's order. Lisa then stood at the bar LOUDLY telling Luz her view about our interaction at the table and her opinion on it, loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to start looking at us. I stood from our table and let her know if we can hear you over here, the whole restaurant can hear you. She informed me it isn't me she was talking about but someone else..... still unprofessional and rude. I would recommend McDonalds over this establishment if Lisa is your waitress. Ramen may want to do some retraining for her!!
