Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Truly enjoyed the energy of this place! It is a great place to have a drink, chill and dance if you want to. Loved the option of a private room for booking a party. Loved all of the photo ops! The DJ was 🔥 🔥 🔥. Unfortunately, we got there to late to get any food. I'll be back so I can try some the next time.

I haven't been disappointed with a restaurant in quite some time. This was a unimaginable disappointment. My girlfriend and I went there for valentine's day, she ordered whole wings that was overpriced and I ordered a hamburger and fries. Well her food came out piping hot while my hamburger was tasteless, tough and cold. The sliver of lettuce was wilted, the tomato tasted old, and the onions wasnt fresh they had a sour smell. The burger patty looked liked it was vegan. Now it seems as though the burger was cooked and placed to the side while the chicken cooked. The waitress offered to have another burger made. I expressed to her that it should have arrived to the table at the right temperature. We both said we would have been better off going to Applebee's. I paid for a meal I trashed, money wasted. I had high expectations for this restaurant, but when you can't even get a burger right it's a sad day. The cook should have known better than to send this atrocious thing out and call it a burger. Whoever owns Per Se needs to train on quality checks.

We’d passed it plenty of times — headed to Cracker Barrel like clockwork — but this time we turned in. Per Sé had always been right there in Douglasville, like a secret spot only the locals knew. I didn’t know what to expect, but walking in felt like I just got handed the password. The vibe was smooth — nicely lit with a large bar right in the center like a stage. I looked at it, slapped my hands together, and said in my ATL tone, “I’m ready for a drank.” And they delivered. Whatever was in that first drink had me ready to double up on the wings — twice. First came the whole wings: crispy, well-seasoned, exactly what I hoped for. Then came the mango habanero wings — full of flavor, not just heat. My wife had the steak tacos and didn’t say a word of critique. That’s how I know they were good. She even pulled out her phone to take pictures — mostly of the flower wall and the antique phone booth. Her impression? Picture perfect. And she was right. The spot has a real charm to it — it’s lounge-style, elevated, but still feels like home base. The kind of place where you can post up with your people or bring your date and make a night of it. I could see myself hosting a company mixer here for RMG — real grown folks energy. We want places like this to thrive. Per Sé is now stamped as a local comfort gem in my book. I'll be back.
