We chose this place solely on the name, being that we live in and love our Houston pho. This place did not disappoint. Very good! We had the fried chicken dumplings that came with various sauces. They were hot and tasty, and the carrot and cabbage salad was perfecto. My Pho Tai Gan was as legit as can handle. Hot and clean tasting. My son had a banmi and the guy was so proud of it, he called it the star of the show. I've never seen a better looking French bread! We will be back if we are ever in town again. It's a little out of the way, but worth it!

We used to frequent and love this place until yesterday; the Banh Mi was always a must and we enjoyed the "combo" which was the sandwich and a canned drink included. Yesterday I visited with a friend and ordered the usual, including two Banh Mi pork "combos" and the waiter got our drink order (included) and acknowledged the "combo" as still active; we got our order and as usual the food was good but much to our chagrin when it came time to pay we were charged for the drinks; a lady behind the counter let us know that the "combo" was no more. In a "normal" world, they would have honored our "combos" as the waiter had acknowledged them being active but I guess in this abnormal world we're in, the lady behind the counter thought it was more important to get her $3.50 for the drinks, forget our patronage and the waiter forgo his tip; sadly, this is going to be our last trip here. If an owner has the gall to trade customers for $3.50 so be it- that's the price she paid to forgo our business.
