Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We ate there for the first time last night. I got the seafood pho and she got the chicken. The broth and noodles were great and so were the vegetables. Easily enough food for 2 meals . The pork fried rice was full of pork and veggies. Well seasoned. Did get a bahn mi, and that was just ok. Everything else was fantastic. Will definitely eat here again.

We had Phoba takeout this week and it was my first experience. I was so pleased! I got the brisket Pho -the portions were big and the takeaway set up was intense. Lots of sides and bowls and accessories - everything I could need and want to build my own bowl. I also got the coconut banana smoothie and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. It came in the cutest little kitty cup and it wasn’t super sweet or overpowering - it tasted really fresh. I rarely can finish a whole smoothie, especially after a Pho bowl, but I sucked it down. We will definitely go back!

I was so excited to try Phoba (one of my coworker told me about this place and she likes it) and i’m now 100% dissapointed. “Bun thit nuong” is one of the most popular and easy Vietnamese dish to make but they fail at making it at Phoba, its the worst Bun Thit Nuong i ever had. The noodles are so cold and hard like they soaked it in ice water, it should be soft and in room temp. The meat absolutely has no flavour and are chopped tiny which is so wrong.
