We’ve been to Picazzo’s several times before but this may have been our best experience yet (and they’re usually really good experiences in the first place)! Gio, our server, was excellent! Friendly, personable, accommodating, helpful and pleasant. He was just a lot of fun! My wife has a gluten allergy and of course that’s one of the main draws of Picazzo’s. But I’m not gluten sensitive and even I thought the food quality was outstanding. We got the meatzaballs, cheese bread, and chicken wings. All three dishes were top notch! Wings were crispy (Italian seasoned dry rub in our case) on the outside, moist, tender and flavorful on the inside. Meatzaballs are turkey meatballs but not lacking in flavor compared to beef meatballs by any means. Nice consistency (solid, they don’t fall apart, but not too bready either), really good marinara sauce. And of course the GF cheese bread cannot be missed. It’s a treat to get GF cheese bread at ALL, but I’m not sure I would’ve known it’s GF by taste alone. Delish! Gio also made my wife a Manhattan that she thought was one of the better Manhattan’s she’s ever had. It was great! I got the traditional (not gluten-free) pizza to go and even THAT was impressive. The crust was spot on; cheese and sauce ratio just perfect. NICELY DONE! On top of all THAT, it’s a great value! The happy hour (healthy hour) is excellent - both food and drinks included. How can you go wrong? If you’ll pardon my old timey expression - hats off to Gio, and hats off to Picazzo’s. Healthy doesn’t mean it can’t also be delicious! Can’t wait to return!

Food was excellent! One of us got a pizza with fig and honey—wow! We found it to be too big for one person but not enough for two. I had the caprese salad—loved the salad but wasn’t a fan of the flatbread. Another person in our party had a chop salad—wow, what a gorgeous presentation. Our water, Geo was attentive and friendly. Lots of outside seating. Large parking lot at the Prominade.

My wife (celiac) and I were is Scottsdale on vacation and ate here for valentines day after we walked out of Ra Sushi (bad review.) Thank God we were able to get a table. We had the meatballs and cheese bread to start and made our own tour of Italy and got the lasagna, chicken parm, and bianca (chicken fet. alfredo.) ALL GLUTEN FREE, PREPAIRED SAFE and all AMAZING. We have been trying to find all the best gluten free products since my wife was diagnosed and I am dying to know how i can get my hands on the noodles and focaccia. We haven't found anything that comes close to as good as they do it here. I would have no idea what we were eating was gluten free. The only bad thing about Picazzo's is that there only in Arizona. Please open one in Denver. You guys would kill it. We will be back to try one day to try the pizza. It looked awesome.
