We had never heard of it before, but decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The food is unique, fresh, healthy, and absolutely incredible. The flavors are unlike anything else around honestly better than anywhere else you’ll go. You can tell everything is made with intention and quality, and the prices are very reasonable for how good the food is. The environment was welcoming and warm, and what really stood out was that the owner personally came over, spent time with us, and genuinely got to know us. That level of care and hospitality is rare and made the experience even more special. Whether you’re looking for a date night spot or great takeout, this place delivers. Pina & Coconut is an absolute gem for Caribbean food lovers and they have American as well. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was nothing short of excellent, rich, authentic flavors that clearly come from passion and skill in the kitchen. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of bold Caribbean soul. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The owner and chef personally came to our table to greet us, which made the evening feel incredibly special and personal. Very good! Tried them for the first time at their new location on argonne rd and it did not disappoint! I've had Caribbean food at quite a few places around the country and their jerk chicken might be my new favorite Caribbean dish. The horchata was also excellent. Pictured is jerk chicken with rice and the fried jack chicken. A must stop if you're in the area and like Caribbean food!
