Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Had this on my radar for while. Did not disappointed. Food presentation, timing of entrees and sides were perfect. Very fresh and filling. I love the pineapple fried rice! Full of large prawns, chicken piece of fresh pineapple 🍍 not overly sweet. It comes served in a pineapple half. Very large portions. Beautiful day choose to eat outdoors in the patio. The serve was very attentive and efficient. Walnut prawns was amazing. Plan to stop more offen heading down to Monterey from east bay more often.

I’ve been wanting to try Pineapple Village for a while now, and I’m so glad that we gave it a try! All of the dishes were tasty and piping hot. Pineapple Village offers many delicious choices and has excellent vegetarian options. In addition to Asian fusion, Pineapple Village serves up burgers and po boys. I was quite surprised by the restaurant size and full bar. It would be a great place to host larger groups or even parties. The service was great and our food was ready quickly!

The food was a bit sweet, the curry wasn't thick enough, the pineapple fried rice didn't have enough pineapple, and the tom yum soup wasn't spicy enough. But it was still delicious.
