I had the chicken shawarma and my husband had the hamburger gyro. My chicken was a little dry but the flavor was good and the fries were excellent. My husband had no complaints. The owner was very nice and pleasant and served us well.

Talk about not judging a book by its cover! This is one of those places! I found Pita way after looking for gyro on Google maps. Glad it came up. The older man serving and cooking inside was a joy to talk with. Even if he was hard to understand lol We enjoyed the service and the food was great! The french fries were perfect! Crunchy outside and soft inside, yum! I'll visit again next time I'm in Anderson.
