Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

The vegan pizza is SO DANG GOOOOOOD, I never thought I’d be able to have a good slice of NY style vegan pizza and Pizza Head definitely proved me wrong. Everything from the vegan pepperoni to the cheez sauce & crust - tastes like the real thing and my pizza dreams have again been reborn. The RANCH IS SO GOOD TOOOOO. And the vegan parm is such a great touch. Super friendly/helpful customer service as well and I love a good lowlight, chill atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend and plan to come back at least once a month to treat myself to a whole vegan pie. I recommend getting half vegan Mozz and half vegan cashew cheese - both are equally delicious. I am so impressed with this place, thank you Pizza head - you have a loyal customer in me 😊🙏🏻

This was an awesome find! We discovered this pizza place after a mailer went out supporting the minimum wage increase for MO. We love supporting restaurants like this so we came to check it out. They offer vegan and vegetarian pizza by the slice or the pie. We opted for a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni with dairy cheese. Both were fantastic. The crust has a slight crunch on the outside with a soft bread interior. I also ordered a special salad which was vegan and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. We will definitely be back and definitely want to try the vegan cheese. Mondays 50% of all proceeds support various charities. And at anytime you can donate a slice to St. Patrick’s Center. Any leftover food is donated to local food share programs. Anything that can be composted is processed through New Earth Farm. This is an all around amazing example of how you can do well by doing good. Kudos to you Pizza Head!!

For vegan pizza, they do a very good job here. Surprising to be honest. If you're not to the vegan meat like stuff, can be a disruptive to your gut. However, if you go for a straight dairy cheese and veg you could probably do ok. The Service is good for take out only. My only complaint is the politically charged atmosphere. Why divide or put up fences when you have the tools to bring people together.
