We visited twice within a 2 week period and had different experiences. Let me start with the location. The place is very modern, clean, and well decorated, so it makes for a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable experience. There is plenty of parking and we went for an early dinner to avoid potential crowds, so no wait at all. The service was very different from one time to the other. The fist time we went for pasta and our server was friendly, but not helpful, and not attentive at all. In fact, a bit dismissive. We waited a very long time for our mains until the owner interfered. The server just left us unattended for a long time and never really came to our table. The owner looked at us a few times and came to ask how the experience was coming along, and we told him that we had been waiting for a while. The restaurant wasn't busy and we waited for about 40 min for 2 pasta dishes. The owner went into the kitchen and the food was brought to us immediately. We were delighted with the pasta dishes as they were flavorful, and the portions were generous. We ordered a panna cotta for dessert, but it was very ordinary, so wouldn't order again. We went for pizza on our second visit, and the service was attentive, but not helpful nor friendly. In fact, the server looked angry. We ordered a caprese salad to start, but it left a lot to be desired. The tomatoes had no flavor, and the salad lacked salt. I'm ok with using pesto rather than basil, but the pesto was barely drizzled, so it wasn't enough to give it any flavor. A balsamic reduction or glaze would have been nice, but there wasn't any balsamic vinegar on it either, so all in all a flavorless mess. It seemed like the kitchen rushed through making the salad and forgot some ingredients. The pizza saved the day. This place serves the best pizza in the valley. The dough has character and texture and combined with great quality toppings... mama mia!!! We ordered a Dolce & Gabbana and a Regina Margherita and both were divine. My only issue with the Margherita was that it did not have enough basil, making it more like a cheese pizza rather than a Margherita. This time we ordered 2 desserts a tiramisu and the cannolis, and were disappointed. The tiramisu was toothless... it didn't really pack a strong coffee flavor, and the cannolis were flavorless. So to summarize... the prices are very fair, the food tastes authentic and the portions are generous, the place is very nice, but the service was not the best. We will definitely return for the mains and the pizza, but perhaps will skip dessert, and hopefully the service will improve.

Big plus! All pastas are homemade. Went for my birthday lunch and sat on their outdoor patio. Our server, Alicia, was very pleasant and informative. She served one of the best Old Fashioned I've had. My Tagliatelle alla Bolognese was perfect. Kudos to the chef. Nice nice touch after the meal were two mini birthday cannolis! I so enjoyed the food that I signed up for a cooking class later this month.

The servers and managerial staff here are very accommodating and friendly, but the food left you a little wanting. The sauce that came with the octopus tasted a bit like Prego, and the vegetables were cooked to a heaping mush. The lobster tails were good but I'm not sure that I want to try much else.
