Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

As a vegan, I’m always happy to see a restaurant where I can order anything on the menu. From that standpoint, PPFF is worth a visit. But if you're expecting a restaurant, you’ll be sadly disappointed. It calls itself a “digital kitchen” and I just know in this world of jettisoning anything that will eliminate a job, we’re going see a lot more of these spring up. Firstly, you can’t go in because there’s no “in” to go to. Ordering is done exclusively online, so no friendly greeting, no asking questions, no recommendations. The online ordering system works efficiently, but “customer service” is a non-concept. To keep overhead even lower, the physical “kitchen” is just a storefront located in a nondescript industrial area consequently very easy to miss. Finally, the only human interaction you’ll have is after you indicate on the app that you’ve arrived, someone comes out and hands you your bag of food through the window of your car. There was probably a “thank-you” in there. That’s it. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was as tasty as that item can get, though that much tortilla wrapped around anything is a bit doughy. All in all, it’s a good option if all you want is to pick up something quick probably not on your way home from work. But, to be honest, I’d rather make some version of it myself and have a nice place to sit and eat with at least one other person (my spouse) to enjoy it with.

Wow, vegetarian of 10+ years. I just moved to Esco and saw this on uber eats. I’m genuinely blown away, not only is the food SO GOOD, but the fact that you don’t have to worry about cross contamination or getting meat accidentally, is so nice. The packaging is so cute, AND my husband who’s very not vegetarian, really enjoyed it too which is such a surprise, he got the Nashville chicken sandwich. Wish I took a pic of the food but my chonky self was too excited. I will say it is pricey but rightfully so!

Not sure why this place is closed on Meatless Mondays for the movement. Make sure you don't have to use the restroom, since it's a digital kitchen-there are none. Which has actually prevented me from stopping there in the past and I would just eat at Cava instead. But get the butterfinger freeze thing, I love the crunch chunks! Happy to have a vegan place to get a milkshake at when those cravings hit.
