This place is a gem. Not really hidden but for some reason, the name just never sounded too appealing for me. I've lived in Athens for years and have never tried this place until recently. Don't let the outside of the building create your narrative. It is incredible, from the food to the atmosphere. Might be a bit loud when it's busy due to the smaller capacity and closer seating, but it's definitely worth it. Food came out fresh and fast and they have some of the best catfish I've tasted. My ONLY issue with it is that they serve their mac & cheese cold (at least the two times I've been). Not sure if that's a thing I don't know about, but not really my style. But the biscuits alone are worth the trip. Tired of eating at chain restaurants? Try this place out. You won't be disappointed at all.

Superb southern/comfot food, large portions, and good prices. The folks working there very nice. Definitely going back here soon.

I live right around the corner and am kicking myself for taking so long to try this place! We had pot roast, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus (a weekly side special, I think?), biscuit, fries and a fried chicken sandwich. I tried everything except the chicken, and it was all phenomenal. My husband loved the chicken sandwich, fries and biscuit, we will definitely be back! Service was fast and friendly, the place was clean and inviting!
