We finally checked out our town’s new speakeasy-style whiskey bar and kitchen, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone—low-lit, intimate, and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. The space is clean, well-kept, and has that cozy-but-upscale feel that’s hard to get right. The food, though, is where this place truly shines. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and intentional, and honestly, one of the dishes we had was easily among the best meals I’ve had this year. The duck nacho appetizer completely stole the show—imaginative, bold, and packed with flavor. It reminded me of a deconstructed jalapeño duck popper in the best possible way, and it’s a must-order. For mains, my husband ordered the pork and dumplings pasta, which featured pillowy fresh gnocchi paired with crispy pork belly in a beautifully blended leek, carrot, and garlic sauce. Rich without being heavy, and perfectly balanced. I went with the grouper fish and chips, and the fish was cooked to absolute perfection—light, flaky, and expertly fried. While the mushy peas weren’t my favorite and I personally would’ve loved the truffle flavor on the fries instead of in the ketchup, the dish was still delicious and well-executed overall. Service was attentive and pleasant without feeling rushed, which added to the overall experience. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the menu, and the execution make it well worth it. If you’re looking for something elevated, unique, and thoughtfully done in a small-town setting, this spot is a standout and absolutely worth a visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service from Hannah S tonight. From the start, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. She knew the menu well, had solid recommendations, and kept everything moving smoothly. This was our second time here for what’s now officially become our yearly anniversary/New Year’s tradition, and the experience once again delivered. We also appreciated Hannah taking a few anniversary pictures of my wife and me when we asked—small gesture, but meaningful. The food and drinks were excellent, and Hannah’s professionalism and positive attitude added to a night we look forward to repeating every year. Solid service all around, and we’ll definitely be back.

The Alabama White Wings were very good. Big and meaty. The blue cheese sauce was excellent too. Had the Fish N’ Chips for dinner and it was fantastic. Two big pieces of fish and plenty of fries. Had to box up half to take home. The tartar sauce was delicious and the mushy peas were pretty good for peas.
