Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Made a visit Friday morning and were the first ones in there. There’s no table service so you have to keep going up to order and ask for things. They only have one menu that everyone was fighting for. The guy working there is very polite and listened to our mimosa requests (a hint of juice in each). Those were the best things. I came with a family member and she ordered a cappuccino and something the worker suggested which looked like a breakfast plate of some sort. The cappuccino was solid but her plate was basic, nothing special, very salty bacon. The eggs weren’t scrambled as requested but omelet like. The potatoes were the best thing on that plate and I cleaned out their house made hot sauce. It’s not really spicy but it’s tasty. As for me, I got the falafel salad. That falafel was dry and bland as the Sahara desert but the salad was fantastic and fresh. Loved the dressing. Although I noticed some of the lettuce was browning and wilted. Overall, not bad! I was also given a dirty sharing plate which isn’t a huge deal but attention to detail would be appreciated. Also they did not accept a birthday reward we tried to use as they made some switch. That’s a shame because my family is a big fan of this place. We will be back. I’m not impressed but I’m interested in ramen night. Maybe that will change my mind.

The burger with an egg as 10/10, I wake up craving burgers at 7 am and they open very early. Service was friendly and attentive despite how busy they were. I found seating at the bar. I truly haven’t one complaint.

This is in the Rochester public market. It’s my third annual trip to have the breakfast sandwich. It’s so good that I dream about it. The people on a Saturday are eclectic and fun. It’s packed. Window seat was great for people watching. Had a chai latte. Staff was super nice. If I lived in roc again I’d be here every day.
