Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

I absolutely love Pura Vida, it’s literally my favorite place. I go almost every day because of the atmosphere, the amazing service, and how kind and welcoming the staff always are. The most incredible thing is the consistency — the food always tastes exactly as good as the first time I tried it. You can really tell they care about quality. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!

This place was so aesthetically pleasing! It’s soo cute, gives bohemian chill vibes. Got the croissant sandwich, empanada trio (beef & spinach cheese — beef is really good) and banana brew, was really yummy, especially the spicy aioli as dipping sauce. Ari was really great and checked in every so often to make sure we were okay. The food came out pretty quickly. This place is a nice little vibe.

Decent breakfast/lunch spot, but for the price, there are better options nearby. We ordered the New Yorker and the Tuna Bowl. The food was nicely presented—the New Yorker was actually quite good, but the Tuna Bowl was bland. We asked to add pineapple to the bowl and were surprised it was an extra charge. I also had an iced matcha, which was good but expensive. Our food alone came to around $50, plus another $8 for the matcha. Also worth noting, they add a small service charge to the bill, as others have mentioned.
