Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

High quality food, very tasty tortillas. Medium sized portions, but they’ve got free guac and cheso for tacos. Not very busy, and fast service. Overall very good and has high quality food, but portion size is a little small.

Nice staff but watch closely. They tried to give me a quesadilla without the cheese melted. Then I got home to find ALL the queso had leaked out of the cup and soaked the bag of chips. They became soggy bag nachos that I couldn’t save for later. Thankfully it was all in a plastic bag or it would have been all over my car seat. The chicken quesadilla didn’t have much flavor (bland chicken?). Not the best $20 I’ve spent.

I went to Qudoba today with my partner and our baby around 7:30 pm and whoever was taking our order needs to be fired, rolling his eyes, not letting us finish our sentences, would just add stuff onto the bowl when we’d ask a question and so much more. We ordered a side of queso and chips, he just started putting in the regular queso when we wanted spicy and when we said something he just put the spicy on top of the regular and didn’t fill it while also rolling his eyes. When we were checking out we asked for large drink cups he handed us regular, I pointed it out and again the eye roll. He sounded like a robot, had no hospitality, or manners. None of the food is good or remotely fresh everything taste like the FDA would cite you guys for crunchy rice, and somehow the steak was also crunchy? There was food that looked like it had been sitting there all day and I understand that it’s the coldest day of the year but if you go to work, I expect you should try a little bit. Behind the counter was nasty. The seating area was clean, but it doesn’t matter if the seating area is clean if the Food area looks like you’d have 50 citations under your name if the state walked in right then and there. I’ve never had issues at the one on the corner of Regent Street and Park, go there instead because obviously they let a lot of stuff slide at night that shouldn’t.
