I visited Quarter Acre on Friday night. The decor is tasteful and restrained. They need to work on music - it was all over the place. I had a 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The service was excellent both by the waiting staff and the sommelier. Wine choices were good, especially Pinot Gris and chardonnays. Overall experience was pleasant but there were a few tweaks I felt were warranted in the dishes to be truly future Michelin star ready. The puff pastry amuse bouche was a bit too big for one bite and with a cream filling made for an awkward bite. Tuna tartare needed a crunchy element to improve texture, it was too soft on soft with tuna and pomelo. The fois gras was good, but serving it with deep fried brioche was probably not a good idea, in my opinion - it was too much of heavy on heavy. I actually enjoyed it more with the toasted bread that was served earlier. The eggplant dish was overpowered by mint leaves and huge rice crackers. The grouper was a tad over for my taste but the smoky black sauce was truly amazing in combination with veloute. The venison dish was perfect in every way. I think Quarter Acre is a great addition to the Dallas culinary scene. I’m looking forward to coming back soon for another try of the tasting menu.

5 star experience. Relatively small place, limited # of tables. Highly recommend reservations. Parking can be challenging but typical for places on Greenville. Staff was awesome. Informative but not pushy. For instance they offer some unique cocktails on the menu, but I just wanted a standard old fashioned, no problem. Food was as advertised, gourmet, presented well and tasted wonderful. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed it. Looking forward to my next experience here

This is our favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food is impeccably fresh and creative. The service is always attentive and manager, Michael, is very friendly. The valet in front of the restaurant makes it easy to not deal with Greenville Ave parking. With a recent visit to Mr. Charles, Quarter Acre, stood out with service, ambience, and menu creativity. I would recommend some different cocktails but that’s the only suggestion for this beautiful restaurant perfect for a date night. The salmon dish never disappoints and my fiancé loved his venison at our last visit.
