I visited Quesadilla Gorilla this past weekend with my family, and I was really excited to try it out after seeing the great atmosphere and aesthetic. The menu had a variety of interesting items, so I was eager to dig in. However, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but we ended up waiting around for about 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us or take our order. While we did eventually get some attention, the service felt a bit slow and unengaged. When our food arrived, we took it outside to enjoy, hoping it would make up for the wait. I tried the asada quesadilla, expecting flavorful, well-seasoned meat and a delicious combination of ingredients. Unfortunately, the quesadilla was disappointing. There was very little cheese, and it felt dry and lacking in flavor. The meat itself didn’t have the depth of seasoning I had hoped for, and overall, the dish didn’t live up to the hype I had been anticipating especially for the price. Although I really wanted to love this place, the food and service didn’t quite match the high expectations I had. I’m hoping this was just an off day, and I’m willing to give it another try. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time!

I have been here twice. Service is good. You order your food at the counter. You can build your own quesadilla or you choose one of the pre-sets. The first time I got the whole meal. Quesadilla, chips, and drink. I got the #3 “Asada or Nada” quesadilla with pico, rice, and cheese. The asada quesadilla looked high quality, but the taste seemed on the dry side. Taste was not as good as it looked. It’s missing something, or the way the asada is cooked is not great. Every quesadilla order comes with the choice of two sauces. They have a very unique variety of sauces. They are all very different and good. With chips you get a third choice of sauce. They do not have a guacamole at all. It would have really hit the spot if they had a good guacamole like Chipotle. But, they do have an avocado sauce… My second visit I had the #1 the cilantro Lime chicken Quesadilla with bacon and jalapeños. Wow, this quesadilla was amazing. Lots of flavor and good spice. So good, You don’t even need to eat it with any of the sauces. This quesadilla left me wanting to come back for another visit. Prices will have you around $15-$16 for a quesadilla after tax. A meal will have you around $20. A bit pricy, however for the portioning and if the quality stays consistent. I think it’s worth it. I’ll be visiting again.

Food was delicious! I tried vegetarian quesadilla and the soychoriza quesadilla, both fantastic! Their chips and salsa were good! I wish they served salsa in a bowl and not a mini togo container. Their queso was ooey gooey goodness! Highly recommend! I wish they had agua frescas and guacamole! I also wish this was not so "to-go" style but had better "sit in and dine" accomodations!
