Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Ragadan? More like Raga-dank! Came for the burger, but would actually come back for the Falafel 🧆. The pocket was loaded and flavors were unique from anything else you’ll find in the city. Very well might be the best falafel I’ve tried. Burger was juicy, melty and certainly high quality, but just a bit rich for my liking. Small counter service spot with a handful of sears inside. Could dine in for small groups. Food came out real quick!

For the last two years since I first stepped into Ragadan, it has been the #1 place I recommend to people looking for incredible (perhaps underrated / hidden gem) restaurants in Chicago. I have worked my way through most of the menu and everything is so fresh, flavorful, and the best in its category. From the burgers, falafel, salads, and milkshakes... They're literally all the best you'll find of any of those things in the city. Recommendations: falafel in any form, Ragadan salad, soups, and the burgers are all must tries ASAP. The milkshakes are the best I've had in my adult life and are thick and decadent with unique flavors (e.g. pistachio, baklava). Since it's located on Broadway close to the Salvation Army, I like to sometimes combine the two as a treat :) 11/10 stars!

Had the Oklahoma onion burger. Heard about them on Food network. It was very good. The onion rings they put I believe some Turkish seasoning on and they were tasty. Also the Baklava was fresh and good. The owner was very nice as well. The other stuff looked good too👍🏼
