My two friends and I recently visited Rajdhani, an Indian restaurant in Artesia, and had a generally positive experience. The vegetarian thali was good, offering a satisfying spread of dishes. However, the undisputed highlight of the meal was the puran poli—it was absolutely fantastic! I'd happily return to Rajdhani just for that. The chaas (buttermilk drink) was another standout; I enjoyed it so much I had five glasses! The restaurant's environment was okay and felt clean, which is always a plus. Parking was also convenient and free. The only real letdown was the cleanliness of the restroom, which could definitely use some improvement. Overall, Rajdhani is a solid choice for Indian vegetarian food, especially if you're a fan of puran poli and chaas.

Overall, a good place for thali kind of food - staff needs some motivation though. Food: 4/5 Pros: * Everythjng was tasty, especially Kadi, Daal, Pooris, etc. Cons: * Desserts were a very small portion and only a single dessert, this was a big let down. Service: 3/5 Pros: * Food kept coming, we did not have to wait and ask for things. Some staff members were cool and genuinely wanted to help. Cons: * Waited 25 mins to get a table, when half of the restaurant was empty — still not clear why we were made to wait, neither did anyone bother explaining. * A large portion of Staff seemed sad and not enjoying their work. There were a few good servers too, but overall it was not a joyful experience. * Example: 1) We asked for window side table, it was a plain no. She goes like, these are only clean ones, and thats it. The table we asked for was clean in another minute, but it was total I don’t care attitude 2) One of the server, kept rushing with do you want more (not in a good way, borderline rude) questions. Atmosphere: 3/5 * Not sure if it was lunch time or what, overall atmosphere was dull

I was sorry to see how quiet it was; I haven't been in awhile, so I don't know why this is, but all of Little India seemed unusually quiet to me. Rajdhani's food was the usual high quality that I always get, there, and the service was thoroughly attentive, as usual. I hope they, and the other stores, survive this slow period.
