Amazing food fast and friendly staff. The birra tacos are a must!
I am beyond disappointed in my dinner tonight, in fact I shouldn’t even call it a dinner because one bite was all I enjoyed. I chose this restaurant for a small group from work to eat at. We arrived as a group of five and were seated immediately. We were given chips and salsa and all was well until we began ordering. Our waiter, Elizabeth greeted us and took our order. I ordered chimichangas. Prior to ordering this I asked “are there any onions or peppers in these? or is it just chicken?” to which she replied, “just chicken.”. My food arrived and looked delicious, I took my first bite which was mainly tortilla and cheese, delicious. Upon opening my chimichanga I discovered both onions and peppers, I was incredibly disappointed. When Elizabeth came back to ask if everything was alright I informed her that there was onions and peppers in my chimichangas, and asked if they could be remade. Elizabeth said they were “just seasonings” and a part of the chicken. Had I known this, I would have ordered a classic chicken quesadilla which is what I usually get everywhere. Elizabeth said they could remake it with shredded beef to which I agreed to and asked for it to go because it was getting late. Elizabeth came back out and said they can only offer grilled chicken without onions or peppers, and that there would be an up charge. At this point I asked her to just take my food back and I would not eat. Elizabeth proceeded to ask me if I was “Allergic to peppers and onions” and asking why I couldn’t eat them. Eventually she said she would clear my check as if she was doing me a favor for taking back something i didn’t ask for. My co worker ordered a shrimp quesadilla. Upon receiving her quesadilla she seen it was steak and shrimp. She received very minimal shrimp, maybe 4-5. She had to pay a $2 up charge for something that was again, not asked for. On the menu the steak and shrimp quesadilla cost the same. When she asked Elizabeth about the steak her response was “maybe it was still on the grill when they cooked it” as if this is an appropriate response, or up to FDA regulations. I will never be returning to this establishment which is disappointing because there is very few options in buffalo for mexican food.

Food was good! Very close to hotel we were staying at! Service was good but noticed the server was serving everyone and seemed a bit stressed.
