Rancho Loco Grill & Bar

I'm skeptical of Mexican food in the Midwest, as it tends to cater to bland palates, but I was delighted to find that Rancho Loco is a lot like the restaurants I grew up with in California. The menu is huge and offers a wide variety of food, and what we had actually included some spices and nuance. A number of different hot sauces sat on the table, too, to add a little heat if so desired. Portions were huge. The restaurant had a nice ambience, too. The tables were nicely spaced out, the decor on-theme without being over-the-top. A soccer game was on the TV over us, which my husband enjoyed watching. Service was great the whole time. We were never kept waiting long, and food came out right as we finished up our chip bowl. I'd definitely come here again!

I enjoyed the food. Authentic tasting and fresh. Healthy portions...enough for me to bring home enough for a snack. The drinks are creative and generous as well...A variety...Nice family atmosphere, friendly waiters and great service. I would definitely go there again.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the two employees working the service desk. One of them brought us to our table. We received chips with mild and bean salsa immediately. We received our food quickly after we ordered our food. Our food was delicious with good size portions. The taco salad had freshly cooked vegetables. The chicken was seasoned nicely. Our waiter checked on us numerous times and was very friendly. We highly recommend it.
