Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Incredible tandoori experience: the chicken arrived sizzling from the tandoor with a perfect smoky char and stayed tender and juicy. The garlic naan was blistered and fresh — I used it to soak up every last drop of the juices and it was heavenly. I also tried the medium-spice coconut chicken curry with basmati rice and it was rich, balanced, and delicious. I will definitely come back here!!

We have dined at half a dozen different Indian restaurants in several different cities, and this was by far the best Indian food we’ve ever had! The family who owns and runs the restaurant is from India, so I imagine that has something to do with it. They greeted us with a smile and a welcoming feeling. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming as well. This might sound silly, but the bathrooms were also really clean and didn’t smell. This often says a lot about a restaurant. The food was so flavorful and beautifully served. We ate the Gobi Manchurian as our appetizer, Chicken stew with Kerala Porotta, mango fish curry, and lamb biriyani. It was all delicious and I would order it all again, but my favorite was the mango fish curry. All of the meat was tender and melt in your mouth for all of the dishes, and the service was so friendly. We were made to feel like we were VIP guests! We will definitely be eating at this restaurant anytime we want Indian food! We highly recommend!

Rasam Restaurant, Corona – A True South Indian Delight ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an absolutely amazing experience at Rasam Restaurant in Corona. If you’re craving authentic South Indian food done right, this place delivers on every front—taste, freshness, and comfort. The dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, served with a flavorful sambar and a trio of chutneys that felt fresh, balanced, and unmistakably South Indian. Each chutney had its own character—from spicy to creamy—making every bite exciting. The curries were rich, aromatic, and well-balanced—not overly heavy, but deeply satisfying. Paired with soft naan and fragrant rice, it was comfort food at its best. You can tell the dishes are made with care and respect for traditional flavors rather than shortcuts. What stood out the most was the consistency and authenticity—this wasn’t “Indian food adapted for convenience,” it felt like food you’d enjoy back home. Portions were generous, presentation was neat, and everything tasted freshly prepared. If you’re in Corona and love South Indian cuisine—or want to experience it the right way—Rasam Restaurant is a must-visit. Definitely going back again! 🙌
