Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Lunch at The Raven features outstanding soup, sandwiches, coffee, and sides. The cafe's cozy nook ambiance offers plenty to admire. For a one-of-a-kind experience, guests can dine on the balcony with picturesque views of the St. Clair River and Canada. I highly recommend this venue and encourage you to ask for Kylee, an attentive and prompt server.

I visited Raven Café during a recent stop in Port Huron, Michigan, when we dropped in for coffee. I was very impressed by its eclectic, raven-themed décor, which even included a taxidermy raven. The café had a lively atmosphere, complemented by beautiful wooden furniture and paneling. I tried the ‘Nutty Irishman’ coffee, which was excellent, and it was served in large, artistic cups featuring a raven and the café’s name. The service was warm and friendly. I would love to visit Raven Café again if I get the opportunity.

This place is so great! It was a wonderful place to stop to grab a bite to eat. Everywhere you look there is something that catches your eye. They have a big and diverse menu and many options to choose from. We didn’t get any drinks while we were here but should have. We split a Ruben, which was good but I wasn’t a huge fan of the rye bread it was served on. Overall it was a good sandwich. We started with the spinach dip and it was good. I recommend getting it with the pita over the chips. Soups were also very delicious. I had French onion and it was exactly what one would expect. The Baja Chicken Enchilada reminded me of the tortilla soup from Max and Erma’s. It was fantastic. They should really service it with strips of tortilla on top.
