I paid $18 for an upgraded don Diego bowl. The bowl was half full and the avocado was brown and not sliced at all. They didn’t even provided a knife. I feel yall could do better for your prices. Staff was nice.

I have gone here a few times and it’s pretty mid every time. They definitely skimp on the protein… For the amount it costs to add tofu, I could buy an entire pound of tofu at the store, but I just get like 4 little bites in my bowl here. The rice is totally bland and crunchy, either undercooked or old and dried out. I need to remember not to get the rice anymore. Basically I go here once in a while out of utility — when I need to meet my vegetable quota for the day, the fridge is empty, and I don’t feel like shopping. But when I go to Krog to choose something based on how much I’ll actually enjoy it, Recess is definitely not my pick. They don’t take quality seriously at all. The people leaving amazing reviews and the one that said this is the best meal they’ve had in Atlanta… I really have to wonder if those are sponsored, or if those people live under a rock and have never been to a decent restaurant.
