Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My wife and I were volunteering in Greenville but had to drive through Clemson and it was around 12:45, lunchtime on a Saturday. The restaurant was slow and only had two other tables. The restaurant has great interior design and atmosphere. There is a small patio outside, but in shade this time of day. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. This is the second time I've been here and both times the waitresses were friendly, knowledgeable and well-trained (not every establishment can say that). Overall, this is a fusion kind of restaurant and, in my opinion, Amerinese (American+Chinese for those scratching their head), and so if you don't like sugar added make sure to tell them when ordering. I had the Spicy Scallion Chicken and fried rice (It seemed to me to be the same as the Amerinese dish of General Tso's chicken, without the sauce (if you'd like to see what I mean by Amerinese, watch the documentary, "In search of General Tso's). Good dish, especially because I added chili oil (on the side) to both my steamed dumplings (pot stickers)(see pic) and the rice. My wife had the Pad Thai (too sweet), and we both had complimentary spring rolls with the lunch menu. We both enjoyed it and the price was good. Obviously, I will come back, since this is my second time and I live an hour away. Basically, what we expected, and it was fine. Go!

My husband and I go to Red bowl a good bit and our server Riley really stood out. She did an amazing job, my husband drinks water like a fish and she kept his cup full and checked on us often. Very appreciated. The food was amazing as always. Props to their chefs and servers for amazing service. We have never had a bad experience.
