Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We went here for Valentine's Day to have a wonderful meal. The staff was really great and friendly, slightly frazzled with everything coming together quickly, but it settled in. Really loved the vibe and the food, it was a great local spot to go for the occasion. Between the two of us, we tried everything from the Valentine's menu, and zero negative remarks, everything was very good, done with style and excellent flavor. Our drinks were also amazing too. My only negative, is even for all the quality, the price is a bit high, compared to other like restaurants in Tacoma and Seattle. Maybe this was due to the event, but that's why I've given 4 stars instead of 5. We would go back for a standard dining experience and see how it compares. But if you plan to go for an event night, plan to spend quite a bit.

Rediviva is an absolute standout in Aberdeen. From the moment the plates hit the table, it’s clear this place takes food seriously. The presentation alone tells you you’re in for something special—but the flavors are what seal the deal. The Savoy Cabbage dish was pure perfection: deeply caramelized, beautifully seasoned, and finished with fresh herbs and a rich, savory depth that made every bite addictive. Nothing soggy, nothing overdone—just intentional, bold cooking. The steak and frites deserves its own applause. The steak was cooked exactly right—tender, juicy, and full of flavor—topped with a vibrant sauce that complemented rather than overpowered it. The fries were golden, crisp, and seasoned flawlessly, soaking up the savory jus and mushrooms underneath like they were meant to be there all along. You can tell this kitchen cares about technique, balance, and quality ingredients. Add in a warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service, and you’ve got a restaurant that punches well above its weight. Rediviva isn’t just “good for Aberdeen”—it’s genuinely excellent. A must-visit, whether you’re local or just passing through.

Went to this restaurant after some recommendations online. This was a really nice restaurant. The decor was very 'earthy', PNW theme theme... finished live wood tables, simple but nice finishes. It felt very warm and cozy. We got 1/3 dozen oysters on a half shell with hot sauce, sides, seaweed and topping vinaigrette. They were delicious, not briny and smooth. The home made hot sauce/sriracha was so good, not super hot, but not mild either with great flavor. We got the uni tajarin pasta (Ramen with white sauce and uni on top). This was our favorite dish, cream was smooth, not too salt or overly creamy, great flavor. Three menu mentioned that this was a small dish, but it was a normal portion, descent amount. The next dish was the grilled rockfish over a bed of lettuce, quinoa and seafood soup (green mussels and squid). The soup was similar to Mexican campenchana. The grilled fish was done perfectly, not overcooked worth great flavor. The quinoa was tasty, fresh lettuce. The soup was yummy, but a bit on the salty side, esp if eaten by itself like a soup. The mussels were cooked well, not overcooked. For drinks we got the smoky old fashioned and huckleberry soda, both very tasty and resumed recommended. The old fashioned was fairly smooth, good but not the best I've had. The soda was yummy, not too sweet too. Overall great dinner, only complaint was the soup a bit salty. Really good if we had a piece of garlic bread, hehe. Like the saying, you get what you pay for... this place isn't cheap. We paid well over $100. So, if you're looking for cheap eats, this isn't the place, but if you don't mind spending some $$$$, but want really good food and great atmosphere, come here.... staff was really friendly as well.
