Regal Abyssinia in Falls Church was fantastic. We ordered the veggie platter, tibs, and kitfo, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. The veggie platter was beautifully prepared with a great variety—rich, well-seasoned lentils and vegetables that were comforting and vibrant, not bland. The injera was fresh, soft, and perfect for scooping up every bite. The tibs were tender and flavorful, served hot and seasoned perfectly with that classic Ethiopian spice profile. And the kitfo was a standout—bold, buttery, and expertly seasoned. Great portions, welcoming service, and an overall warm vibe. This newly renovated restaurant offers delicious food, and the service is truly wonderful. I really love the Chickena Tibs.
