The meal started of with some wonderful chips and very fresh-tasting salsa - a good omen for what was to come!! This dish was the Enchiladas de Mole and it didn't disappoint!! It was beautifully presented, the chicken wasn't dry and the mole sauce was fabulous! I also ordered the highly recommended Skinny Girl Margarita and it was very good!! Huge, and not too sweet... The service was good.

Hi all, Ben here for another review of a local favorite! This time we are in Jasper IN at Retro Mexican Cuisine. On this outing, I ordered Chimmicurri steak tacos in the blue shell. Let me tell you, these were great! The flavor was there and the steak was tender and delicious. The chimmicurry was also flavorful and slightly spicy. We really enjoyed the meal..........but the blue shells are not natural at all. They do taste home made, but obviously dipped in blue die. I think my insides were blue for at least 3 days allowing me to celebrate my meal over and over again. TMI.....yes, but that is the only thing I have to complain about. Actually it was more funny than anything. If you want festive mexican blue shells, dont worry, your fine. Just expect a colorful suprise. Overall it was a great experience. Thank for listening.

Amazing food! We had the shrimp tacos & classic street tacos (chicken). Can’t go wrong with their chori-queso and the habanero salsa. Must recommend for anyone visiting Jasper and craving authentic Mexican food.
