Revive Cafe

I had heard really good things about revive, but unfortunately my first experience was not that. I ordered 2 bowls, one açaí and the other funky monkey. Both had floating ice cubes and not blended whatsoever. The fruit was fresh but the rest was flavorless.. I also ordered a chicken avocado panini which was basically an avocado toast. The avocado I’m assuming was more of a spread which was fine but not enough to compensate for the lack of chicken, no tomato, and one leaf of spinach. I don’t mind spending top dollar on quality food but 40 dollars for avocado toast and two watery granola bowls was not worth it. I do want to mention that the staff/customer service were excellent. I told them it was our first time in. They checked in on us twice to see if we had any questions while we were looking at the menu and were very pleasant. We were not rushed and we felt welcomed.

I ordered a quinoa bowl with veggies and pesto dressing. It was delicious! Generous portion size, too. The person who helped me was nice and even patient when I was too distracted looking in their to-go fridge to see her trying to hand me my food 😅 Absolutely going back 🙂

I’m visiting the quad cities for baseball and found the gem through a Google search. It was a little out of the way but I’m so glad I made the trip! I will visit anytime I am near! The whole menu looked delicious, but I had un-tuna on quinoa bowl. The staff were great and the woman who took my order recommended a dressing and made sure to note that it had honey in it incase I was vegan. They were busy today but did a great job at helping everyone with a smile!
