Even though there were some huge groups on a Thursday evening, we were still taken care of by the hostess and waitress. We enjoyed the wonderful soup/salad bar along with our delicious entrees. Highly recommend the lightly breaded shrimp and hash browns, as well as the delightful chicken and rib combo. It was so good I forgot to take pictures of the entrees until the end, so the pictures are what we took home. We can't wait to return!

We have been to Rex's several times before, but we were disappointed on Valentines Day. We were hit immediately inside the door with Mary Kay representatives asking for information. The salad bar was disappointing. The macaroni salad was pasty, nothing was labeled, and the lobster bisque was more just broth. We ordered the Chicken Cordone Bleu and the salmon. The chicken was a hard dry roll, and the cheese wasnt melted inside. When I cut it, it literally broke. It was served with a small cup of chicken gravy that had a heavy film on top. My rice was on a small saucer, clumpy and cold. The salmon was ok, and the baked potato, but the asparagus was just barely cooked. When paying over $65 for a meal for 2, I would have expected better. The bread was good.

Beyond appalled by the quality of service and food. We put our name down on the list when we arrived and was told ~45 min which was no problem. After an hour we went up to the hostess to find out where we were in line and she looked at the list and said we were crossed off with no explanation why. She then stated we're now 2 people behind. Well ok... So we waited longer again and then finally were sat. We ordered right away and said we could go to the salad bar but that was empty for about ~10 - 12 min so had to wait for that. Finally got our salad which was actually the best part of the meal. We ordered ribeye, 8 oz filet, and chicken breast. Steaks were laughable for being almost $50 and would be better off getting a frozen Salisbury steak for dinner. To top it all off I requested a new fork and the waitress stated... We don't do that. 😲
